CBD - An Education
What is CBD, how does it work and who can it benefit?
WHAT IS CBD OIL AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
The main substance taken from the cannabis family of plants (in this case, hemp) for use in CBD oil is cannabinoids.
Cannabinoids are a naturally occurring series of molecules found in both Hemp and Cannabis. These molecules interact with our Endocannabinoid System (ECS) to produce a broad range of beneficial effects for the human mind, body and spirit. The primary cannabinoid of interest that interact with the ECS is cannabidiol (CBD). Other well known Cannabinoids include THC, CBG, CBC, CBN and CBDA.
What is the Endocannabinoid System?
The Endocannabinoid system (ECS) is found in the human body, as well as in the bodies of all mammals, and is considered to be the essential regulator of our bodily functions (homeostatic system).
It is a system of receptors that can be found in both the Central and Peripheral Nervous Systems. They extend into the skin, bones, organs and musculature of the human body as well as having an effect on the immune system.
The ECS has been observed to positively influence and impact the following physiological processes (slide right):
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
“I know it's difficult to process what people with *actual* anxiety disorders (not "damn, I'm stressed today" disorder) are dealing with seemingly every minute of every day. Imagine things like this, amplified to include so many other things that people say to you over the years, dropping like a bomb on you at the smallest trigger, at any time, CONSTANTLY. CA Craft CBD tinctures are part of my daily routine as it helps me get through the day."
